Build digital confidence across your school team and empower staff to use technologies effectively and improve outcomes. The Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship equips education leaders with the skills to implement technology responsibly and effectively. Apprentices learn how to support digital systems, improve communication with staff and stakeholders, and use AI to enhance—not replace—teaching and learning. With a strong emphasis on secure data handling, stakeholder support, and reducing teacher workload, this programme helps schools build a digitally confident workforce that can adapt to emerging technologies while safeguarding educational values. What you'll learn: How to use AI safely and effectively in different aspects of your role. How to organise, analyse and monitor data to support digital operations and use of software. What emerging technology options are out there that may benefit your class or school. Automation options for workflows. Your organisation’s digital architecture and what this means for your role and future projects.
A blended learning approach including 10 live sessions with your cohort over 12 months with complementary self-paced, asynchronous modules. Monthly 1 to 1 meetings with your coach to develop your understanding of the apprenticeship knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) tailored to your needs.

It's also been really useful for other leaders in the school who have had the opportunity to develop and implement other software and technologies to enable them to work in a more effective ways.
